[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hooked this LG soundbar up to an older LG tv in hopes that it would make me an LG person. I didn't like the sound of the TV by itself so I had high hopes for the soundbar. I found that the bass blast had the best sound for me. The AI sound pro setting also sounded fairly good too. The clear voice option did make the voices sound louder. In my opinion there wasn't much difference in the rest of the sound options. I did try adjusting the sound settings for a fine tuning but I couldn't hear any difference. I honestly didn't care for the soundbar because it did sound tinny to me even after settling on bass blast for the tone that I liked the best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] if you’re looking for an affordable soundbar to complete your home theater setup, the LG S70TY is definitely one to give strong consideration. It packs a powerful sound and Dolby Atmos. The setup was quick and easy out of the box. We were watching movies within half an hour. Calibration was a breeze through the app once we were able to sinc via Bluetooth. The included wireless subwoofer is a nice size and packs a good punch. The soundbar delivers a good 3.1-channel audio despite the slim design. This a great product I give 5 stars.

I am using it from past few weeks and it is great in every aspect.

Better than expected

I currently have it set up with my PC. Let me just say, the sound quality when gaming is absolutely superb!
The set up with my LG ultrawide gaming monitor was super simple right out of the box. I love that they include the brackets to hang it on the wall! Such a great option. Took about 5 mins for me to install the brackets and hang it above my monitor.
The remote comes in super handy since my monitor does not have one. Haha
I am definitely going to purchase the speakers that are sold separately to complete my gaming setup!

Super quality sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with this soundbar. It was super simple to connect to myTv with blue tooth. It also pairs easily with my smartphone. The buttons are simple and easy to use. The remote is spot on and easy to use. I love how the soundbar uses AI to detect the levels needed for the different medias. It is big but super easy to move around. The app allows use to change the bass settings and other things. This system is definitely tech beginner friendly. It really has a bigger than life sound quality and the volume can go theater loud. I'm glad it can also hook up with a hdmi and and optical cord. This is my first experience with LG and I'm super impressed.
