(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used a Surface Pro 5 with a single USB -A port for several years. This caused great inconvenience because I had to swap-out an external back-up hard drive, a digital microscope, an external CD drive and a USB flash drive with personal information that I kept off my system unless needed. I just upgraded to a Surface Laptop with a USB-A and USB-C drive. The Lenovo USB-C to USB_A Hub has greatly simplified my life. No more waiting to disconnect a drive.

It's worked amazing for music production, with an external hard drive, audio interface and MIDI keyboard all running through it. Super solid transfer speeds, no latency and quick connection. The cable could be slightly longer, but it's nice and portable. Gret solution for apple's constant removal of ports.

the product is good the problem is that the site did not specify that it was only compatible with windows and I specifically bought it for my steam deck to transfer files and use its hdmi connection to a projector or tV
