[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works without drama with Fedora 33 Linux. Internally this device is showing as a VIA Labs, Inc. USB hub. Using as port expansion for keyboard and mouse for my thinkpad. I haven't tried running large amounts of data through it with an external USB drive.
