Very Disappointed

I loved the idea that this container would keep out dusts, bugs, etc. I made the mistake of buying approximately 20 boxes. I have only had the boxes about a month and I have already broke off at least 6 handles and I am not rough with the container. Unfortunately, they do not sell just the handles so you lose the seal with missing handles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this container for a little over 6 months. In the last month, 3 of 6 latches have broken off of the container.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oily film on all surfaces

There is an oily and cloudy film on all of the clear plastic. I tried cleaning it off with various plastic-friendly cleaners and it will not come off. I am very disappointed in the product.

The "greasy-like film” on the storage item is a vegetable based agent used in our process to assist in keeping the containers from sticking to one another making it difficult to separate them when they are nested. This is not a harmful ingredient.
We I suggest you try using a liquid dish soap that is “tough on grease”, or other household all-purpose cleaner that is a degreaser, applied directly on a damp sponge or the item. Rub gently and cover the product completely inside and out. Rinse thoroughly until it is squeaky clean. Towel dry or allow the item to air before using it.

Good overall, but know what you are getting.

I own several hundred of these, and store everything in them. Over the past few years, it appears that the company has made changes that has reduced there overall quality. More recently purchased boxes seem easier to bend and breakage is much more common. Several of the reviews comment on the handles coming off. If they come out of the holes, they can be slipped back in with some effort (push the section outward slightly with one hand while sliding the handle one side at a time in with the other hand). Unfortunately, in more recently purchased boxes, I have actually experienced breakage of the plastic strip that holds the handle. The foam gaskets in the lids have also been more of a problem recently. Sometimes the foam in a lid is split and broken. Other times, the foam does not seem to fit well within the lid (not sure why, as I assume they are all made the same size). This is not a problem in the majority of the lids, but occurs enough to be worth mentioning. With respect to shipment, if you have these delivered, you should expect a 10 to 20 percent breakage rate. They are shipped in groups of four with absolutely no foam, wrapping, corner guards, etc. The bottom box in the group is most often broken, but I have received shipments where all of them were broken and others where none were. The company has raised the price of these significantly over the past 18 months. I wish they would have addressed some of the shortcomings. Given all of this, the buckets without issues are very nice for storage and stack easily (be careful of weight when stacking).

gasket box handles

Love the gasket feature but every single one of these that I have bought, which is 4 large size, 3 medium, and 1 small, the handles have broke off. So now I have to use a bungee cord to strap down the lid, which totally negates the gasket feature for air proof quality.

Hinges ALWAYS break. I own 9.

I have nine and the hinges on all of them have snapped off. If they made an effective latch, this would be a great purchase, but as is, it's a waste of money.

I have bought 3 of these in the last year and the latches are what continues to break. I hav a bunch just like these made by ziploc that has lasted over 3 years. There is no reason to have such a low quality product that consumers have to repeatedly replace.

Perfect Multi-purpose Use

It's undeniably the best Gasket -airtight plastic storage container in the market and the research backs this.
I performed an extensive search for the ideal container for my needs and each survey and customer feedback kept coming back to the Sterilite brand.
