Great product

I have used my three drawer cart for years in the kids closets for toys and miscellaneous. I would like to know if I can purchase the top lid separately so the unit can be used as a single or two drawer unit. Thank you for making a quality product in the USA.

Boring/Low Quality

Dear Sterilite,
You do realize that everyone giving your carts a raving review is lying, don’t you?…Well, unless it’s a young person who wasn’t old enough to be buying plastic carts when they where decent quality…The wheels cave and break, the plastic is flimsy and your colors, “white and black” ( probably not making that color anymore either) are boring. Isn’t it time to make plastic carts great again? Bring back the fun colors like Shopko used to carry. I’m tired of low quality, boring products. I want variety in the colors of the rainbow 🌈 people will pay more if they have to, to get the quality we were used to in the 80’s and 90’s

Used to be great, but is now poor quality

I wanted to add an honest review to balance out all of the positive reviews on this product. Be aware that if you purchased this product years ago, it is definitely not the same now. I had two of these when I was in elementary school and they have stood the test of time (I am 21 now). Actually, I still have one and the wheels still work beautifully and the cart has not sagged. I bought another one a short time ago expecting the same quality. However, the plastic is thin, the wheels break off EASILY, and the wheels will not roll on carpet as my other cart's wheels will. For reference, I am a very careful person and do NOT abuse my furniture or household items. Sterilite, you have skimped on your products and have become a disappointment. Apparently, made in the USA now has no meaning. Please go back to manufacturing products that will last and that customers can be proud of.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not for heavy loads

I am pretty much bedridden and use this as a bedside table/cabinet. my main negative observation is that one cannot store heavy items (such as piles of books) on top or in the drawers. Eventually this causes almost unnoticeable warping and The drawers then become almost impossible to open or close. Also when a wheel assembly breaks off it’s impossible to glue back on. Within these constraints I highly recommend this unit and all other sterile light products I’ve used.

Great product

I bought a unit in which to store all my embroidery equipment . It is just perfect; neat, attractive, sort of blends into the scenery and durable. My unit gets a lot of hard wear and it holds up showing no signs of wear, the bottom drawer carries a lot of weight, books folders etc. with no complaint from it or from me. !! Also it's made in the USA a very definite plus for me!!

Nice cart, but needs sturdier wheels

I bought these 3 drawer carts a little over a year ago to store my Christmas ornaments. I got the drawers out this week to start decorating, and I was quite disappointed when I see that the weight of my Christmas decor stored in one of the drawers, had broken down the casters. Two of the wheels were broken down-my husband did a quick "beefing up" to the carts and hopefully they will be ok this year. They should be fine as long as you do not overload them with heavy items.

They warp in the middle and would be nice to have a system to stack on top of each other and lock in place.

A) They warp in the middle. Sometimes this causes the drawers to catch on the frame while opening or shutting. They need to have the top more reinforced.
B) They have a little ridge around the boarder on the top that is about 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch. This makes it hard to put something like a glass/drink, as it sits crooked and unstable if you set one on that ridge area. Along with the warping in the middle, it makes it virtually impossible to put anything liquid on top as causes easy unsteadiness (easier to tip over and spill). Notice how the liquid in the cup in the picture is not level. However the ridge would contain the spill from running over if that is what its purpose is for.
C) It would be nice to have a way that they could lock into each other to be able to stack them.
D) The way they are built, the frame is exposed and that collects a lot of dust along the sides.

Excellent Mobility and Convenience

I put small clothes in it like socks and shirts. I can move it to the living room where I can sit on the couch and dress a special needs child. It makes it more easier to move the clothes to me because a dresser don't move easily. I can also move it to the dryer so I can put the clothes in it as I fold them. Excellent invention!
