Hinges ALWAYS break. I own 9.

I have nine and the hinges on all of them have snapped off. If they made an effective latch, this would be a great purchase, but as is, it's a waste of money.

Love them

I have several of these for storing holiday decorations and extra classroom supplies. They work perfect. Only issue is the lids are a bit delicate if not careful. If as heavier container is stacked on top, it may crack. We had 2 crack when we moved cross country.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but missing hinges

I just purchased these yesterday for the gasket like seal. I didn’t even notice till I got home they were missing 10 hinges. I took some of the hinges from some and moved them around so they would seal. I didn’t want to unload all my wife’s wool and take them back. I guess this is the only real problem with these as others mentioned. Where can I get hinges to replace them? I like the seal even with the missing hinges and will buy more if I can just get hinges. I’d give them a 5 if the hinges were there but gave them at least a 3 for quality as they really are sturdy and don’t deserve being discounted lower just because of that

MY Favorite Storage!!

I have replaced all the storage totes in my house to these!! I love them. The air tight gaskets, to the snap handles, the the great stacking! LOVE THEM...just can't find them lately!!

gasket box handles

Love the gasket feature but every single one of these that I have bought, which is 4 large size, 3 medium, and 1 small, the handles have broke off. So now I have to use a bungee cord to strap down the lid, which totally negates the gasket feature for air proof quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The hinges break off

Good container, but hinges break off easily if using regularly. Need to be able to buy replacement hinges.

Best Storage Container Ever

Both my daughter and I have purchased several of these gasket boxes. They are the best for storage!! We really like that the covers remain very secure and sealed. We use them when storing items at our camper that have to remain there during the off season. I also use them to store seasonal holiday decorations. Our daughter uses them to store clothing that her baby has grown out of. So far we haven't had any issues with these boxes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oily film on all surfaces

There is an oily and cloudy film on all of the clear plastic. I tried cleaning it off with various plastic-friendly cleaners and it will not come off. I am very disappointed in the product.

The "greasy-like film” on the storage item is a vegetable based agent used in our process to assist in keeping the containers from sticking to one another making it difficult to separate them when they are nested. This is not a harmful ingredient.
We I suggest you try using a liquid dish soap that is “tough on grease”, or other household all-purpose cleaner that is a degreaser, applied directly on a damp sponge or the item. Rub gently and cover the product completely inside and out. Rinse thoroughly until it is squeaky clean. Towel dry or allow the item to air before using it.
