Great Tote Overall

I am currently using this tote to store my charcoal, lighter fluid, and other miscellaneous grilling items. It is pretty sturdy and I like that it has the locking lid. I was using another tote previously for this purpose and bad storms/heavy winds would blow the top off of it. I have not had that issue at all with this new tote. I also don't have to worry about water getting into it due to the lid. I will definitely be purchasing more of these to be able to use in my basement and garage!

This product is great for storage! I use it for my kids toys/clothes. It stacks great so it allows for added space.

The strength and durability on this tote is unmatched by any of its competitors! I have been using a different brand to hold some heavy household items and just transferred them over to this Sterilite tote. I have complete confidence this product will keep my things safely secured thanks to the heavy duty handles and high quality construction.

What Happened to the STRENGTH?

I have a dozen or so of these I bought a few years ago. Recently decided to get rid of all the cardboard boxes on the shelves (water makes you reconsider quickly) on the storage shelves. These totes (15gal) are a great size that fits my shelf height wonderfully.
Ordered another dozen online, and promptly returned them. The new ones were not the same as old ones. Old ones were sturdy, rigid, and felt like they could go several rounds with a 5 year old having a bad day. I even had an old door laid across 2 stacks of 3 to make an impromptu work surface. The new ones are just downright flimsy in comparison. Forget about stuffing them with winter clothes as sides bulge out. Old ones didnt have a problem. New ones do not feel 'solid'. Old ones feel undestructable. I am not sure as to what the difference is between old and new, but I guess its time to find a different manufacturer. Maybe I should just go back to cardboard boxes, at least then I know what to expect.

Excellent Tote for tools

This tote is sturdy, manageable sized, able to be used on or under a work bench. I plan to store all my rechargeable tools inside to keep them free from moisture in the basement. It is the right size and has a good locking lid, I highly recommend this product. Great quality and very useful.
