seems to be made tough and nicer than most stackables but the lid does not fit, way to small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stands Up To Serious Abuse

I use these totes in my robotics workshop to hold excess stock. I was nervous the first time I stacked a tote with 70-80 lbs of material on top of another holding an additional 90-100, but sure enough, the lids have not caved in, or even warped to where they won't seal tightly. My only ding against the item is the locking hinges, which are tough, but maybe not up to the task of being opened and closed hundreds of times each week. Recommended for all commercial grade applications and light industrial duty.

This is durable enough for frequent transport

I sell things at fairs, and I was told to use only rubbermaid because they will survive frequent transport in cold weather. These industrial strength are great!

My family loves Sterilite Industrial Totes because they are incredibly durable, have great handles on all four sides, and the latches hold well.
