Worth the money.

I’ve had the speaker for almost a year now, and I love it. The sound quality is amazing, and so is the durability. It’s waterproof, so I can take it practically anywhere, just in case I want to enjoy some music. I has some pretty good battery life also.

Hard to connect sound poor

When I bought it I expect a better experience with sound, but when I turn it up it starts sounding like a one of those cheapest speakers, horrible thing and gave me hard time to connect it to the Bluetooth, every time I got a call disconnected and I have to start over (turn the app, turn off the speaker….)

Unacceptable for classical music

Bose has a fine reputation for classical music, but this speaker just does not play it loudly enough. All the 5 star reviews you see are for popular music only. The fact that it is designed for outside use makes it even less acceptable. Just in my small one bedroom apartment, I had to crank the volume up to max just for it to sound moderately loud playing Tchaikovsky symphonies, Mendelssohn string quartets, or Beethoven piano sonatas. I returned it. I made sure that I was not getting anything wrong with the settings before I determined the speaker wasn't right.

Best speaker ever

Of course the day that I received the Bose speaker my friend decided to water the plants little did he know the speaker was underneath on the deck and water the speaker dried out in the sun speaker works perfectly fine with the speaker ever

Good choice

The overall sound quality is quite good. I chose after rejecting a couple of other products. The range of reproduction is more important to me than volume, and most especially, the focus on bass. I still think this is too bass heavy.
The control buttons could be more distinct. I'm not sure why they have been designed to so difficult to find. I'd like to have a simple equalizer choice... perhaps 4 modes... why not? It would be so much better product. Too much emphasis on waterproofing... can't Bose make a product that isn't necessarily meant to be dumped in the pool during an out of control party?
The charging is much better than expected or discussed elsewhere. Uusally 2 hours, not 4. Very happy.
What isn't tolerable is the choice to use a voice-based battery monitor over simple lights. It IS more definitive. But, the horrid female voice is cringe inducing... every time you turn this thing on, "she" announces your battery life and the connection, sounding like an addict about to retch. It is truly unbearable.

We purchased this for our outdoor area. Couldn’t believe the sound it outs out! We are going to purchase 1more to completely fill our backyard up with quality sound

Not durable

I bought this speaker because the reviews were good. The sound is great. This speaker is NOT durable at all. I work in a warehouse and dropped it twice and only have had it for 1 month and it does not work now. Not GOOD quality at all. VERY unhappy
