Great sound and quality, but poor battery life

Bose is known for their great sound quality and product quality. That’s why I spent the high amount of money to buy their speakers. But, I’m very disappointed in the battery life. Bose states that these speakers will run for up to 12 hours on a full charge. I’ve used them three times and they always die before making it to 4 hours. So, I’m very disappointed in spending as much money as I did on these speakers. I expected much more out of Bose.

I picked the bundled SoundLink Flex bluetooth speaker for a few reasons:
1-value buying as a pair
2-party mode feature allowing my music to travel in multiple rooms or Indoor-Outdoor keeping the mood going
3- water resistant for peace of mind out by the pool
4-Bose sound quality
5-sleek design
6-portable allowing for easy moving while playing
7-Bose long-lasting quality
I use the speakers mostly for get-togethers, pool time, and in the kitchen while cooking. Pairing is easy, but I have had to look up the instructions a couple of times when I haven't used party mode in a while but that's just my bad memory. I've always been able to get it working.
I feel confident these will last me a long time. My old portable bluetooth Bose speaker has been working for about 10 years and has been used inside, outside, garage, beach, vacations, etc. My husband claimed the old Bose as his and my JBL speaker died so I bought these SoundLink Flex as my replacement. I highly recommend Bose in general and these SoundLink Flex.

equalizer/audio effects to maximize the range of this Bose speaker. Try boosting the treble - didn't know it but, at first, my android phone's audio-effects settings was off or flat and the Bose sounded a little dull. I set the phone's audio effects to "vocalizer", the treble and mid-range increased and, WOW!
I want to buy another for real stereo sound. (but one is great). Can't wait.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If one is going to take the time to listen to something . . . news, music, podcasts . . . you might as well enjoy it. This little speaker system is not bashful in sharing great sound. We use this daily and are amazed at the sound quality. Super simple to get Bluetooth up and running. I now use this instead of my stereo due to the convenience factor.

Great Bose Speaker for All

I recently obtained the new Bose Soundlink Flex Bluetooth portable speaker. I was impressed with how easy it was to sync it with an iPhone and Android phone at the very same time. The ease of operation was a major plus for this portable speaker. I downloaded the Bose Connect app and was on my way to getting the most out of the product. I was pleased with the rich sounds that were produced on the speaker. I used it to play music during work that I used to only have on headphones. It was great to give my ears a break from earbuds and have a rich background of great music playing endlessly on the Bose speaker. My friends were impressed with the sound quality of the speaker when I showed it to them. I was able to play different genres of music and have great balanced sound in all settings. I would highly recommend this speaker to my friends and family. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for your honest opinion.
