Fun color. Heavy!! This is not lightweight at all. The Bluetooth works well with my iPhone, but the Bose App. is not compatible with the speaker. The sound is murky, not clear as I hoped. Likely

The speaker is very pretty. The lavender color is great and the fabric loop on the side of the speaker is so helpful for carrying. Unfortunately, Bose pushes you to download their app to use the speaker. This wouldn't be much of an issue, however, the speaker will not operate with the app downloaded. The only way that the speaker will connect to a device is by deleting the app entirely. This poses an issue if you're trying to use more specific features, connect additional speakers, prevent other people from using your speaker, or if you own other Bose products. After going through the entire troubleshooting process, it seems that the speaker is likely faulty and that no repairs are possible. While the Bose website doesn't seem to feature these reviews, other websites indicate that this is a common issue with this speaker, and there are no fixes besides replacement.
If you're okay with risking it and potentially not having the app, this speaker may work for you. The materials are nice, it's not too heavy, connects easily to bluetooth when no Bose apps are present, and is durable enough to throw in a backpack. It's just disappointing that a brand like Bose is selling products with this issue for this much money.
