The sound quality is great! It's nice to have the speaker near your ears when you are watching TV at midnight. I don't need to wake up the household!

It sounds much much better than any other bose portable speaker, but you can only use it through the smartphone app. No direct bluetooth to bluetooth. Thats a bummer

Great sound from a small speaker

I need to replace a speaker and decided to get this one. I never had a Bose because price was always an issue. But I bought this one at a great price and I am happy with it. The bass is very strong especially when I use it with xm.

For years I've waited for a Bose speaker that works with devices other than Bose. The quality of the sound is surprisingly great while watching music videos on my Android S21.

I have 3 iPods & 2 other Bose Bluetooth speakers & was disappointed that I had to download a Bose app for this Flex speaker & found out two iPods would not connect to it but at least I can use this new speaker for iPad, one iPod & my iPhone..but would have liked to know this before buying it. Thought it would pair like other Bose speakers did & would be compatible to all iPods 7th Generation

You can connect to the SoundLink Flex speaker by connecting directly through your device's Bluetooth settings, or through the Bose Connect app. If you wish to use the app, IOS 11 or Android 7 or newer is required to use the application.
