The sound is really good but…

I like the sound of my bose soundlink flex speaker but I was surprised that when I compared it to the new JBL Flip 6 that the JBL Flip 6 sounded cleaner and produced more spacious audio to my ears and the JBL is a little to some louder. All of this is probably due to the JBL Flip 6 having a tweeter and the bose soundlink flex not having one. I do like that the bose soundlink flex has better bass than the JBL Flip 6. But I really really like that the JBL Flip 6 has an adjustable EQ, allowing you to adjust the bass, treble, and mids. But with the bose soundlink flex you cannot do that. I understand the bose soundlink flex has position IQ technology but what if me as the user/bose customer wants to adjust the EQ settings to my own personal liking?? As I’ve said you can adjust the EQ on the JBL flip 6 and on the similar sized sonos roam portable speaker too.

Purchased to have easier portability than our Bose "docked" speaker and so far we love it. Super easy to connect via the app, sound is great but not a great as the docked speaker. Portability is awesome.

Good but not great

Does what I need but could be much better. The base is boosted too much so it works great for music but poorly for speech or videos. There is also a slight current buzz so it works well louder but could be better when the volume is lower.

Nice Sound but impossible to connect

since my phone is operating under Android 12 the connection to Bose Connect is impossible !
