My switch is stuck

The zipper went off the track and is now stuck in this case that I waited for entirely too long for

I like the slim profile of the case, plus its sturdy, rigid build. I also like the pouch on the inside for game cards.

I only used this case a few times and the freaking zipper got jammed then it broke off trying to get opened.

The zipper ruins it

Impenetrable? Maybe, but that could be a bad thing when it works against you. I waited for the redesign and turns out it is as flawed as the original. First use and the zipper separated as it was rounding the far corner causing it to be jammed at the corner with my system locked inside. Instant cold sweat as I wondered if I was going to have to cut this thing open to get my system out. Ended up using a spudger to unzip the rest of the shell far enough to open it a few inches to slide out my system and games. Genki refunded my purchase but otherwise said nothing. They didn't defend themselves or their design or really say anything and that is sad as it seemed like they knew it was bad and were just trying to keep it quiet. The brand is unfortunate soiled for me. Not sure when they traded haste for quality. I think they has lost their way.

Unreliable zipper makes this short of a good case

I've been using Genki's Sleeper Case for my Switch 2 actively for a couple months, and I think the size & slim form are great, with some caveats: if you buy the other Genki accessories, like the battery pack, then it will struggle to fit in this case.However, worst of all, the recessed zipper is a huge issue. It can very easily get jammed or misaligned, and because it's recessed into the case, it cannot be fixed like a jacket zipper you may have ever had trouble with. I'm in a position where I'm genuinely screwed that I can't get my Switch 2 out of this case without breaking the zipper entirely.
