Inconsistent color and thickness

I always buy Staples Multipurpose Paper. Over the last few months I noticed that the color varies from ream to ream and also the thickness. It's still good quality paper but I have to make sure I don't mix reams when sending papers to customers.

Excellent quality and 99% jam-free

I have six (6) printers in my business and five (5) are ink jet the other is a Xerox. All of them use this same paper and jams are rare and I get excellent results with this paper. Nice feel to the paper and ink never smudges.
