We use the multipurpose paper all the time for our printing needs. This was an outstanding deal -- had a rebate offer and the final price was a penny. It doesn't get any better than that!
As a classroom teacher I am always looking for copy paper that is cheap but is thick enough so that the ink doesn't bleed through when I copy double-sided. This does the trick. Also it is great because the copy machine can pick each sheet up individually and doesn't jam the machine as some reams do. I always try to purchase these when they have the staples easy rebates to make my classroom budget go further. Thanks staples for helping us teachers out. I only wish you still had the rebates that made cost only the tax. Every penny counts.
It is paper. It is white. It works fine in printers and does not create a lot of paper ash within the printer. I usually pick a ream up every time I can get it for one cent or free after rebate just to keep a supply at the house. They also work great as cheap monitor risers. Currently I am using six reams (three under each of my monitors as monitor risers. They are sturdy for such a use. It is also really hard to type four hundred characters on a ream of white paper to try to get the five bonus community points on the review.
My company uses Staples Multipurpose Paper 8 1/2" x 11" Case by the pallet and I also buy it to support the daycare that our children attended for several years. From my experience it is a superior quality paper. All the sheets of paper in the ream and/or case are identical and consistent (i.e. no pockets or patches of inferior quality sheets of paper within the ream or case). If there are paper jams in our printers are work it's usually because of the printer needing to be serviced not because of the paper. I would recommend Staples Multipurpose Paper to anyone and everyone.
Staples Multipurpose paper is a great work horse for the home office. Ink from text and photos appears crisp and clean. Paper does not jam in printer in high humidity. Affordable low price.
