I buy the least expensive paper I can find unless we have a special project. I also use both sides as much as possible.

Better than Hammermill (which jams)

I have three Brother black-and-white laser printers all old and reliable. I always bought the Staples house brand paper both this and the cheaper copier paper except when I bought Hammermill paper in a promotion. The Hammermill paper jammed in the first printer and I had to disassemble the printer to remove the obstruction. I then tried a different ream of Hammermill paper in another Brother printer and had the same result. I then noticed that the Hammermill paper wrapping had the statement "99.99% jam free". This meant they were aware of the problem. But they did not fix it. I never had a problem with Staples paper before or after these jams.

Staples® Multipurpose Paper 8 1/2" x 11" Case I go through a lot of paper and I really like the 20 weight paper and I haven't had any problems at all with the paper getting jammed up or any thing. The ink doesn't smear on the paper and I go through about one ream of paper in one week with our three printers I had one company that asked me what kind of paper I was using when they received a Invoice in the mail so the other company ended up getting the paper like I use the 20 weight they also use the same paper knowStaples® Multipurpose Paper 8 1/2" x 11" Case
