I was looking for a home desk chair that was simple yet sturdy and supportive. I will admit the sale price actual caught my eye first then the design of the chair and also the reviews. So glad I took the chance on this chair. Easy very easy to assemble the seat cushion feels firm enough to last and the supportive back is definitely a plus. I would strongly recommend this chair.

The hydraulic lift will quickly start to fail on you. Replaced it 3 times under warranty before finally giving up. I sit atop 3 cushions now as the chair won’t raise up. Staples knows of this issue and does nothing. Very disappointed.

The former chair this one replaced was 30+ years old and incredibly uncomfortable. It felt as if you sat on a metal frame. This new chair feels like you are sitting on a cloud and with several adjustable settings it is definitely a great purchase. Assembly was quick and easy.

The arms cannot be brought into a narrow enough position and the arms do not pivot. The space between the inside of the arms when fully brought in (at narrowest) is 18". I would need the straight arms to have a 14" -15" separation. Otherwise the chair is just fine.

The back of the chair simply does not tilt back far enough for me. Uncomfortable after a very short time. To compensate I have to tilt the seat along with the back. Maybe this is true of other chairs but I would wish to back could tilt further than what means a real right angle. The other fetures of the chair are good however.
