This chair was purchased as a replacement for a 13 year old Staples Acadia chair that gave good service until the foam seat cushion wore out and became permanently compressed. The Carder chair is virtually identical in style size and articulations. The biggest difference is an enhanced lumbar pad in the seat back. This chair feels familiar after being adjusted. As with the Acadia chair I left the arm rests off since they interfere with the retractable keyboard shelf on my desk. All considered and especially at the offered price point I am very happy with this chair and would recommend it for a comfortable budget seating solution to match modern leaning office décor.

This is a good chair for a good price. The adjustments provide what you need and the chair was a piece of cake to assemble. Even the casters can be placed without a mallet. One screwdriver - that's it. We will have to see if it holds up over time but it looks like it will. I would buy another if I needed it.
