I replaced an old armless draftsman type (but good condition) office chair. The fake leather always made my butt sweat from sitting. I purchased this and it is HUGE! There is no cushioning and if wearing shorts etc you end up with textured marks on your thighs. It digs into the back of your legs. The high back and lumbar support area is good and the arms. I kept it but regret it every time when I sit. I could not return it because I recently had hip surgery and could not get it returned to the store. Keep looking or go into store and try the chairs they have on the floor. I would not buy again or recommend. Only fix to this chair is use a cushion.

Unfortunately the picture with the dimensions of the chair is not correct. It says the arm width can be adjusted down to 17.7". This is not true. The narrowest the arms can get is about 19.6". This is a significant difference in a key ergonomic measurement. I will be returning this right away.

Has a lot of adjustments but like most office chairs this thing feels like a medieval torture device after a few hours. The biggest problem for me and everyone is going to be annoyed by something different is the spacing of the arms. The instructions say the arm width is adjustable. Technically they are but they only adjust about a half inch left or right not enough to make much of a difference. Is this a bad chair? Not at all. It checks may boxes. It's just not an all day chair. It will feel great for twenty minutes at the store but once you get it and its an all day thing you'll be moving around and constantly adjusting looking for the right adjustments and positions.
