I was pleased to get the new chair. It is the same as the old one. We had to replace it due to the fact that the original was defective. the bottom feet were never even to the floor. So the chair tilted. I am happy that the new chair does not tilt sp I am free of back aches.
In general this is a good chair which have the benefit of a reclining sit and this is a huge addition for people who sit for a long time and need to type for example. This is the second chair of the same build that I have and it needs to be mentioned that the finish of the plastic parts is not done well this time. It is sharp and unpleasant (around the handles and the base). I would still buy it but hope that the manufacturer will be more attentive to it. In the old chair the handles were smoother and the base was made out of metal and there was no problem like it.
Purchased this chair in August due to starting to work from home (like many others) and needed something more comfortable than the dining chair I was using. It was on sale and received good reviews so I bought it. The assembly was straight forward and easy. Overall this is a good chair for casual use. I say that because after about 4 months of almost daily use (at least 7 hours 5 days/week) I noticed the seat cushion isn't as comfortable anymore. I'm now looking into buying a seat cushion. I also swapped out the original caster plastic wheels for the rollerblade style caster wheels so I don't scratch up my floors and better mobility. Good casual chair but I'm not sure if I would purchase again definitely not at full price. If you are like the many who are now working from home more then I would look at other options that would provide more comfort.
