Not very comfortable after all

I am disappointed in this purchase. Contrary to the reviews I read I have found this chair to be very stiff and uncomfortable. I'd like to return it but online purchases can only be returned in their original packaging which I stupidly did not save.

Great chair but assembly instructions MISSING STEP

Love the chair but the instructions for assembly is missing a crucial step! I even called the toll free number on the pamphlet & they were useless. I found a video from a few years back that showed me the missing step. This is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVj4z5LVWag. For the last step of attaching the back of chair to seat you must REMOVE THE WHEEL on the chair back all the way for the metal piece to be able to slide in the slot. Once in then you can put in the plastic plug. Staples - please UPDATE YOUR DIRECTIONS!!!

The seat on the chair is extremely comfortable and I like that there's a lot of flexibility in the adjustments. The arms don't work very well; I like having arms but they don't really clear the height of my desk so it's a bit inconvenient. I may need to remove the arms entirely. Otherwise a great chair at a good price (if you can catch the sale).

Only issue we have it it is that the arm rests dont go down far enough to under the desk drawer. We had to remove them.

This chair had overwhelmingly positive reviews but don't believe what you read if you need an all day office chair. I bought this chair to sit in for 8 hours a day and once I sat in it I knew immediately that I had made a mistake. The seat cushion is not a cushion at all. It's extremely hard only slightly better than the wooden office chair I wanted to replace. Additionally the seat is too short and I feel like I will fall forward out of it at any moment. I'm only 5 ft so this shouldn't be a problem. You get what you pay for and now I understand why this was so reasonably priced.

Best Chair Ever

We purchased this chair for an employee with a bad back. He tried to use every chair in our office. There are six chairs and needless to say that there was not a person willing to give up their chairs. I for one was not willing to give my chair up to anyone (selfish you think?) He left on vacation and I decided I was going to "borrow" his chair. Well now I understand all the ranting raving and attachment he had to this chair. Now wouldn't you think that I as the owner of the company should have this chair? Well I am not that mean nor do I push my weight around so in conclusion I now which chair I will be getting .
