At first I thought this chair was alright aside from the seat back that is nearly impossible to adjust to anything other than it's lowest "setting". To start with this the adjustment just doesn't hold up and when adjusted to a higher position it just falls right back down. It's also incredibly wobbly from side to side with no way to tighten it. The reason for one star: I have been using this chair normally for several weeks now (working from home 8 hrs/day getting up periodically etc.) and the seat pan cushion is already to the point of providing no support or cushion. The foam that was in the cushion has completely become compressed. It feels hard when I sit down is very uncomfortable and it causing me to experience numbness and tingling in my glute and all the way down my leg.

I feel like I’ve been punked. I spent hours online looking at dozens of chairs and reading hundreds of reviews. I finally settled on this chair because it had thousands of positive reviews. These people must have been sitting on bricks previously. There is nothing comfortable about this chair. The seat and back are hard and solid. There is very little cushion or softness. I gave it one star because it was easy to assemble. I can’t possibly disassemble this chair or get it to my car alone (quarantined!) in the week Staples has given me to return it. So I’m stuck with it and will have to buy a cushion and seat back. Do not buy unless you go to the store and try it... or if you need a bit of an upgrade from sitting on concrete.
