On my old one the pistion failed but this new one has a 5 year warrenty from the chair manafactuer. Went togeather easy took about 20 minutes to assemble and appears to be reasonable well built. I find the lumbar support is more than adequate. Cavieat save the reciept the warrenty requires it should you have issues. Now a rant on FED X home it has taken over 10 days to ship a package from CA to MI their dilivery person keeps comming at odd hours demands a signature left a form that I filled out and refuses to allow it to be used in stead and they want me to drive over 30 miles each way to pick it up myself!!! Really??? UPS amd USPS delivers the same package in 5 days or less no hastle!!!
