I bought 5 chairs for my office and was able to assemble the chairs very quickly with no problem. My Team loves that they can adjust the back tilt the angle of the seat raise the height of the seat and adjust the arms. I'm very happy with this buy.
Bought this chair at Staples for a new office we are establishing. My wife who will be doing the bulk of the office work loves the chair. Like most folks our age she has some back problems related to arthritis. She says the chair provides excellent back support and is very comfortable. We are thinking of purchasing another one.
Purchased this chair in December and by April it was falling apart. The mesh on the back of the chair pulled away and several metallic staples fell out. This is an expensive chair with a lot of adjustments but unfortunately the quality doesn't match the price. The worst part is that Staples won't return or exhange furniture items (despite the fact that they are "Staples" brand. The store manager just gave me a the manufacturer's phone number and told me to call them instead. V Very disappointed in the quality of the chair and the lack of service from Staples.
In the past we've bought three or four lower-end office chairs from Staples and they gave decent use. I bought the Carder chair at a good price on a double discount and with an additional certificate it cost me only $50. I wanted very much to like the chair. The parts were well-marked and the chair was relatively easy to assemble. The chair seemed to fit pretty well at first although the chair was barely high enough. However within several days the chair slowly became uncomfortably low -- lower than our much older office chair. I returned the chair within two weeks to the store and was given a new one with no hassles. But the same thing happened to the second chair. Because we wanted to like the chair so much we tried one fix -- tilting the seat to raise the front. But the back of the chair tilted backwards then gave no support. I returned the second chair four days later for a refund. The air suspension "shock" in this manufacturing run of chairs was most likey the cause. The Carder chair would have been an unbelievable deal if it had worked properly and it would probably rate 4 or even 5 stars.
