Comfort with Back Support

Of all the potential chair choices for my home office use that I sat in at Staples which was quite a few this chair had the most comfortable lumbar support. It has chair controls that were clearly marked to help you make adjustments for height seat and back pitch and height etc. I like the mesh back which allows ventilation of my back during hours of use. The arm placement and cupping isn't perfect for constant computer use but livable. With the cupping it should also have been horizontally adjustable too. Arm rest height is also adjustable. I can work for hours without feeling tired of the chair. The cupped arm rests are cushioned slightly more so than other chairs I sat in or had before. These are probably foam-filled but not too cushy. I recommend this chair. It replaced another (but not mesh-backed) chair that broke in two because of metal fatigue in the center post that I had bought from another office supply vendor 7 years ago. This one seems more substantial. The fabric seating is comfortable too. With a substantial sale discount going on at the time I bought it I paid the same amount as I did 7 years ago for the other chair. The chair I just baought was about a third of its marked retail price. Buy it on sale.
I bought this 14 months ago. It was fine for awhile but now as soon as I sit in it I sink straight to the bottom of the foam. There's no support at all. The base needs to be redesigned with better materials.
The chair has a nice big thick padded comfy seat. you can adjust the lean of the seat height lean of the back and arm rest height.I would give it a 5 if i could adjust the lumbar support. I like the mesh back for airflow. The bottom seat material has nice breathability. I was able to put it together myself without having to call anyone for help. The ONLY difficult part of putting it together was putting the caster wheels in. You REALLY have to push! Would be helpful if the instructions say that. I wasn't sure if there was a defect.
Easy to assemble the husband did it with no complaints in under 15 minutes and no power tools required. Fits in office nice size and easily adjustable. Able to adjust back so it doesn't slip back if juvenile sits on chair. easy to clean and comfortable. No complaints. The hardest thing was carrying the box into the house.
