My Mesh Desk Chair

Loved my old chair. Wife wanted one with a mesh back so she could look through & see if anyone had left a message on the answering machine. 30-minutes ago I finished assembling chair (not too difficult for someone with 10 thumbs!) I am sitting in the new chair as I type. It seems comfortable. I am sure it will work fine. Wife is happy.
I got this chair on sale for $99. I was looking for a good solid chair for my poor not-so-solid back. At the time I had just moved into a new office which I had furnished with throw-offs just to get started. I was also being treated for sciatica - stress bad office ergonomics and what not had crippled me up. My doc recommended that I invest in a decent chair. He showed me the ones he'd purchased for his office staff but they were well over $300 and out of my price range especially since I had to pay the doc too. So off to Staples I went looking for a deal. I sat in every chair in the store but this one had a few features back pain suffers should note: 1. Lumbar support - it isn't the greatest or most adjustable support on the market but it does the job. 2. Tilt-Lock: You can tilt this chair and lock it in a semi-reclining position which takes pressure off of your low spine. Most chairs tilt but won't lock in the recline position. 3. Seat adjustment: for sciatica sufferers this is a must. You can tilt and lock the seat in a number of positions. I find myself changing it throughout the day for the best comfort. Overall this is a good chair for the money and yes my back has improved since I invested in proper seating for my new office. I only gave it four stars because the seat itself could use a bit more padding but overall it's worth the money even at regular price. A super value at half off!
The chair is a light copy of a classic. It works well except it is limited in the ability to raise the seat to a full lebel for a taller user. The tilt mechanism is good and the appearance is ecdellent. I can't say how durable the chair is but it is good for a home office or a starter desk. The price/value is excellent and it appears to be durable. I'd purchase it again.
Order chair and was easy to put together. Arrived in fast time . The chair started out very good and my son wanted one for his use during his working hours at our office. I found it at a good price and haven't found it since at the same price. Now I know why. My wife just came in and said that the new chair we bought from staples was sinking when she sat in it. I asked if the lever was up and she said she can get it to go up but as she sits in it it starts to slowly drop down all the way to the ground. So back to staples it goes.
This is used for hours every day and is the replacement for a similar earlier model that was used by me for about 10 years and which is still being used in my shop now. The old one's arm cushions are torn and pieces missing and its height adjuster no longer works. This is the cause of getting this replacement chair. I expect to purchase another of these for my ham shack and soon.
Chair has nice features as far as adjusting can is fairly comfortable. Downside is fabric is cheap I wear shorts and the seat is painfully rough waffle fabric and the mesh chair back ripped within 4 months and I don't do a lot of wear & tear and am a normal size girl so nothing strenuous was done to the chair and I'm the only one to sit in it / home office use. Arm rests are comfortable wish it could go a tad lower I feel for the price it should have been sturdier. Was easy to assemble took a few minutes
