The best thing I can say about this chair is that it was not too hard to put together. The directions were easy to follow. There was nothing else I liked about this chair. I have a bad back and I am constantly looking for a chair that I can sit in 6-8 hours a day at work. This is not that chair. With all the adjustments available on it I thought I would be able to adjust it to any comfortable position to meet the contours of my body. Unfortunately I could never get comfortable in it. I constantly felt like I was falling forward. When I sat all the way back in the chair the lumbar bar would not stay where I needed it to be. No matter how much we adjusted it it would not stay where I needed it or it was unable to stay in the position I needed it. And I could not get the chair to adjust up and down.

The chair is heavy a very substantial item and I was able to make a great deal as it was heavily discounted for a sale; it has adjusting features that should please anyone that is hard to please as to comfort; the design will be cool during very warm weather as it is upholstered with a open web like material; the adjusting levers (3 of them) are handily located on the right side and it should not make any difference for my left handed friends. It was easy to assemble the directions were quite simple to follow.

Lumbar support is wonderful....very comfortable over all....and the mesh lets heat out in the summer and heat in in the winter.....really really nice chair...

Great Chair for the Money!

I have been searching for a reasonably priced office chair for some time. When this went on sale for 1/2 price I decided to try it. Assembly was very easy. It is rated as a 3 - 5 hour chair. If you sit longer I would suggest moving a step up. The only negative comment I have is that it is difficult to tilt the seat back. The lever works fine it just takes bracing to lift the seat. All in all a great chair for the money.

My old chair after years of use broke with hours of photo processing still ahead of me to do. The sale at Staples began the next day with the right pricing and many selections to try. I found a fit with the 3 to 5 hour chair The price was great assembly took less than an hour using user friendly instructions. Best instructions I've ever seen. After many hours of work in it I feel comfortable with no aches. I look forward to many more years of comfort and durability with the Staples Carder Mesh Task Chair by Quill. JW
