I've had the chair for about a year. It has been a good chair however...over time leaning back the mesh on the back has given way from its frame. It it held to the frame with hidden staples. About 7" of the back mesh is unattached to the frame of the chair.
I bought this for my home office to replace an old Steelcase office chair. Both had the same seat adjustment controls. I am very impressed with this Staples chair especially for the price (
Nice Chair has all the adjustments one needs to sit comfortable rolls good on a plastic computer mat but not too good on a rug wheels dig into the carpet. cushion seat is comfortable. I have added a back massage/heater for extra comfort. Price was good could have reduced it a little more had them give me the assemble free plus 10%. Got to be a little aggressive some times like they say "The grease wheel gets the grease". Though every thing is OK with the chair I wished it had one more thing a head rest.
I really wasnt looking for a new chair but I had some rewards and saw one not this one on sale. Started checking and came across this one for only 40.00 more dollars. I like this one over the other can't remember what model it was but it did not have all the leavers on the side and not as high a back. Really like the fact that you can lower or make the front of the chair adjust and this one leans back to where my other one didn't. It is very comfortable to sit it and help me to sit up straight while I am working. It was very easy to put together and arrived even before it was scheduled to arrive. I only gave it 4 stars because I have only had it for a couple of weeks. Really can't go wrong wiith the price and comfort.
I am very pleased with this office chair. I was looking for a chair without arms and could not find one that I liked. My husband installed chair with the arms but I found them to be in the way when I am typing so he removed the arms and the chair is more comfortable for me and meets my needs.
