I bought one of these chairs as a staples special over 7 years ago. The mesh in the back is separating from the plastic but I still use it every school day as I grade papers and lesson plans. I decided to buy another (this time much more expensive) and it’s exactly as the other. Comfy and solid.

I really am happy with the chair. It was nicely priced and easy to assemble. The many adjustments make it easy to get to an ergonomic position. It looks reasonably ell made so it should last for awhile.

Carder mesh office chair

The assembly of the chair posed challenges. The allen wrench provided was not capable of tightening the screws which attach the mechanism to the bottom cushion. I needed a set of channel locks to grip the wrench in order to provide the leverage needed. As well the back cushion height adjustment lock is not able to secure the back where desired without numerous attempts to find just the right spot in order for it to engage. And once positioned the back tends to move a bit making the chair seem cheaper than it probably is. Time will tell as far as durability of the components is concerned.
