I’ve been using this chair for a week now and I’m very happy with it. I sit in it for about 5 hours a day to work at my computer and I don’t feel any discomfort. It was easy to put together. It has a lot of adjustments to make it perfect for your own body. You can adjust the height of the chair the height of the arms the height of the lumbar in the back the tilt of the seat and the tilt of the back. Ignore those reviews who complained that the seat is tilted too far forward and they feel like they’re sliding to the floor they must not understand how to use the simple lever under the seat that allows you to adjust the amount the seat tilts forward when I adjusted this lever and locked it in place my seat is not tilted forward at all and my butt is level.
The three adjustment levers allow me to set the chair seat and back for working or relaxing. I use the chair in my bedroom to either work at my computer desk or to watch TV. Not too difficult to assemble nice to look at uber comfortable seat. Bought another one for my husband. Well worth the price. Buy it.
Very good price. Easy/simple to assemble. Many adjustments to make chair comfortable. But…. Armrests are contoured to fit your arms straight forward but not on an angle to type and could be a bit softer making them slightly uncomfortable. Seat bottom could be a couple inches longer front to back. Seat back lumbar support sticks out a bit far which is probably why seat cushion feels small. Again for the price a decent chair.
As I'm sure we're all doing I bought a desk chair for a home office--it's definitely a cut above the flat wooden ladder chair I'd been using but I don't know if it's ideal. I like the level of adjustment and having arms that support my elbows is key. However the chair only goes up to a seat height of 19" which isn't ideal for my current desk setup. I would consider returning it and looking for a taller model but most of the alternatives at the price point don't go *down* below 18" and so wouldn't be a great fit for my usual desk. Fortunately I'm pretty short anyway--of the Staples models this is probably the right chair for me. I also find the seat tilt on this chair to be mighty stiff and adjusting the stiffness of the tilting is unintuitive--it'll take more tweaks to get this to exactly where I want it. That said the chair is mostly fine.
The Chair is an ok chair. Does the job has enough adjustments that you can make. Cons: the back of the chair doesn't quite seem stable and feels cheap. I think that the construction could have been better on the attach of the back to the base. It wiggles quite a bit when you pull the chair back etc.
