I cannot attest to the long term durability as I have only had this chair one week. But dealing with back issues this is the best chair I have found in a long search. It has enough adjustments that I can get the angle I need. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that there could have been a few more inches to the height. But I can live with this well enough.
