I went to Staples and sat on every chair in the store to find the most comfortable one to get my husband as a gift. I decided this one was the best one. He liked it. When I decided I needed a new work chair since I'm now working from home I asked my husband if I should take his chair and he could get a different one. He said he liked it so I decided to just get the same chair. It was easy to assemble by myself and I can adjust the height and tilt fairly easily.

Purchased in August in January the piston started lowering on its own. Rather disappointed about it that it lasted less than 6 months.

I so wanted to like this chair. I'm working from home and was looking for a good full-time office chair without breaking my personal bank. Unfortunately this one does not work for me. My primary issue is that the seat itself is super uncomfortable. It's pretty thin and the foam is not good quality so my tush hurts by mid-day. I've even been sitting on a pillow. Second (and lesser) issue it seems the seat tilts down toward the ground so it feels like I'm going to slide off the chair. I've tried adjusting it but no luck. On the plus side the mesh back is well constructed and feels great on my back. I'm just not sure this chair is meant for long days sitting at desk. FYI I'm 5'5" and about 160lbs. so not too big of a person that I feel like the chair shouldn't sustain my body type.

Carder Mesh Office Chair is Excellent

I want to recommend the Staples Carder Mesh Office Chair. This particular model is fairly compact taking up little room while offering a very comfortable experience. The chair arrived just a day after I ordered it When I realized I would be putting it together I was a bit concerned I would do the job right. No need to worry; very simple with the best instructions I have EVER seen included with a product. The chair is very comfortable with the number of positions for the seat back and tilt pretty much guaranteeing you'll find that perfect position. Rollers work well on carpet. Very happy with this chair.

Not Comfortable Build Quality Issues

I'm incredibly surprised at all of the 5 star reviews because this chair is nothing near as comfortable/supportive as reflected. Firstly after putting the chair together the back/arms wobble. It's a flaw in the design as I installed/tightened everything correctly. I find myself almost constantly shifting in the chair during my workday. The seat is mesh and felt decent at first but over time the middle of the seat becomes very compressed and it feels too hard. Now after a few months of use it's unbearably squeaky as well.

Quick delivery easy to assemble and comfortable. I had to replace my old desk chair because it was causing leg cramps and back pain. I do not have either problem now that I have been using this chair.

There were a lot of chairs displayed at the store. This one was what I chose because it was in my price range and the seat felt right I have had more expensive chairs in the past and the seat cushions wear out. I only weigh 175 lbs but I do spend a lot of time in the chair.
