This office desk chair is adjustable mobile and comfortable. At its moderate price It is a good replacement for the more expensive office chair it replaced.
This was the second chair I purchased at Staples and had to bring back due to poor workmanship... This chair began to fall apart - literally come apart - within two days of being at home. The back was pulling out of the frame and staples were popping out onto the floor. And the extra warranty I purchased didn't cover it because it was within 60 days of my purchase.. so back to the store I schlep with the chair that I assembled and after being told that they didn't have any chairs at this same price point was forced to pay to "upgrade" the chair and the Smart Trade warranty. The manager at the store "couldn't authorize" a purchase at a lower price - or give me the warranty free even now that I am back with a second poorly made chair. Poor horrible product poor customer service.
Very pleased with the Carder Mesh Office Chair. So far all around very good quality office chair: plus very price competitive. Love the adjustments; which I am still making to find my optimum comfort setting. Also the positioning of the chair around my desk is much friendlier than other more expensive office chairs I have used.
1) The seat foam compresses immediately and is very uncomfortable when sitting for more than 30 mins. The hard seat pan below is quickly felt and causes your back to hurt and rear-end to feel numb. 2) The back rest pushes you forward when at rest taking core strength to push it back and sit up straight. 3) When leaning back it requires you to push up with your feet as the seat follows in the recline (so is NOT relaxing for a break). 4) The armrests do not lower enough to NOT be rested upon when giving the elbows/forearms a break (and I'm short). 5) The seat pan in not adjustable forward/backwards. You cannot sit very deep in the chair with the backrest pushing you forward. 6) Great casters as the ad highlights point out. That's it. This is a horrible chair for ergonomics and comfort. It's pretty but inadequate for sitting at a desk to do work.
