I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS CHAIR. THE LOMBAR SUPPORT FEATURE IS EXCELLENT. WHILE IT APPEARS LARGE IT DOES NOT OCCUPY A LOT OF SPACE.

Good chair overall. The seat cushion is well not really a great cushion.

The chair was easy enough to assemble and seems to be made out of good materials for the price I paid ($99.99). How it fairs down the road remains to be seen. All the other adjustments that the chair can make are great and seemed hard to find in this price range. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that aside from all the other parts I think the seat cushion has be to great and this one gets uncomfortable pretty quickly compared to how it was sold. The specs say 5-10 hours but I would put it at 1-2 hours.

I have not had it that long but it is a nice comfortable chair that fits my needs. The store did not have any it in the box so they shipped me one within 2 days. The instructions were easy to understand and assembly was simple. Excellent service the sales and delivery persons were very helpful.

Carder Mesh Office Chair - PERFECT FOR MY USE

The Carder Mesh Office Chair is exactly what I wanted. I was needing a chair I could use in my home office at my desk top computer. The mesh chair back has the arch for lower back support which works great. The only disadvantage I experienced was I wanted the chair shipped directly to my address and by doing this the chair had to be assembled. It is not hard to assemble just inconvenient. For a small fee the store offered to assemble but that would have entailed another trip back to the store to pick up the chair so I opted to assemble it myself.

Good value for bad backs

I got this chair on sale for $99. I was looking for a good solid chair for my poor not-so-solid back. At the time I had just moved into a new office which I had furnished with throw-offs just to get started. I was also being treated for sciatica - stress bad office ergonomics and what not had crippled me up. My doc recommended that I invest in a decent chair. He showed me the ones he'd purchased for his office staff but they were well over $300 and out of my price range especially since I had to pay the doc too. So off to Staples I went looking for a deal. I sat in every chair in the store but this one had a few features back pain suffers should note: 1. Lumbar support - it isn't the greatest or most adjustable support on the market but it does the job. 2. Tilt-Lock: You can tilt this chair and lock it in a semi-reclining position which takes pressure off of your low spine. Most chairs tilt but won't lock in the recline position. 3. Seat adjustment: for sciatica sufferers this is a must. You can tilt and lock the seat in a number of positions. I find myself changing it throughout the day for the best comfort. Overall this is a good chair for the money and yes my back has improved since I invested in proper seating for my new office. I only gave it four stars because the seat itself could use a bit more padding but overall it's worth the money even at regular price. A super value at half off!
