The back support is great and not overbearing. The joints are sturdy for the most part and it's almost an eye sore in our apartment yet low key enough so it doesn't overpower the room. I think it's because it doesn't have a head rest and I can still accidentally fall asleep in the chair in case I'm overworked.

Good Lower Back Support

I sat in every chair in the store and this one felt most comfortable for me. Even more than the super pricey chairs. I was mainly looking for lower back support because my back tends to hurt a lot with the huge leather "manager" office chair that I had. Also I am short (5ft. 2in.) and this chair allowed for my feet to finally touch the floor correctly. Not sure if this chair is for taller people but it definitely is good for a short person! The seat cushion is pretty firm but softness isn't what I was looking for. I am now able to sit up straight with good posture in this chair!
