Finding a comfortable office chair is not easy for me. They hadxthese at an office I used to work at and it worked perfectly for me. That was almost 10 years ago and Ive purchased them for my new offices and now my work from home set up. Quality chair for the price

Description of the multiple functions sounded great. But..... The back hardly leans back. Positions from leaning forward to just a few inches back. Unless you tilt the seat bottom all the way back. Then the back is not too bad but the seat bottom tilt is ridiculous. Im a tall guy but the arm rests are too far forward. Would be terrible for anyone of average height.

I've had this chair for almost 10 years and I recently repurchased it. It's still very comfortable. great customization for the price. it's not perfect, but very good for the price. I'm 5'3 and I think it's still a little too high for me at the lowest setting. I think it's perfect for 5'4 or 5'5+

Comfortable! Functional!

I owned a predecessor to this chair, purchased from Staples 18 years ago. I hope this new one lasts as long! This chair is very comfortable. The assembly was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. The screws you need for each step are bagged separately and clearly marked for that step, which is brilliant. The only complaint I have is that how to use the chair was not explained! I had to find a YouTube video explaining how to adjust the tilt angle of the seat. [Note that this is not a well-known feature, some reviewers here are complaining about 'sliding forward', etc., which can be solved by adjusting the tilt angle of the seat portion]. The angle of the seat back can be adjusted as well, and the height of the chair. The arms can be spaced closer in or further out - the arm distance adjustment is only made during assembly, however.
It would be great if Staples could provide instructions on how to use this chair that are as clear as the assembly instructions.
Overall, when deciding which chair to buy (a commitment, since I had my last desk chair for 18 years!), I considered style, price, function, comfort. This chair is not stylish, but wins hands-down in price, function, and comfort. (note I purchased during a half-price "sale" - the retail price of $300 seems excessive)
