This desk chair that I bought 10 days ago is mostly excellent! It was easy to assemble very comfortable easily adjustable and it works well. The only drawback is that the seat cushion is not that well padded. This is a minor problem. I would have given this chair a 4.5 star rating if that was available. I would recommend this chair for anyone who works on their computer and wants a reliable product which is also an excellent value.

arm chair pads fall apart- save receipt

Decent chair for the money... but be forewarned to save the receipt and warranty information (you will need it). As with all Staples brand name chairs with these type arm pads they are made cheaply and the arm rest pad falls apart in a relative short period of time. You will need to your receipt and information to get replacement arm pads under warranty. Mine break apart so often I keep the receipt/ manual/ and hex screw driver on my PC desk for quick and frequent access.

The chair itself is fine but it is not the chair I thought was ordered for me. I went into my local store and tried several chairs and wanted one that was fully mesh - back and seat. The one in the store did not meet my needs so a very helpful salesperson said we could order one online in the store. He pulled it up for me and entered in all my info. I had it assembled at the store and had it picked up. Unfortunately it is not a mesh seat but a regular one. I don’t find it as comfortable as the mesh one I tried in the store but it’s fine.

I bought this chair recently so I cannot speak to the longevity of the chair. It was easy to put together some parts are heavy. The chair fits well and the adjustments make it comfortable. One needs to follow the directions to adjust the chair; it is not always easy. I put my arm handles on backwards so I would have a place to hold on as I have hardwood floors so the chair could easily roll away as I sit. I also put them on backwards so they tilt down and fit under my sewing table even when raised to a higher position. The net backing is not slippery but rather gripping to help one sit properly but it might pull your clothes as suggested in other reviews. The chair rolls very easily along the floor without leaving marks. This chair replaced another Staples chair that was more office big chair type; this smaller ergo type chair is much more comfortable...nicer fabric than that leather like stuff that is hot and peels after awhile. This chair is nicely upholstered with non slippery fabric (not vinyl like the back). I am pleased with this chair. 4 stars because it cannot compete with a sewing "Heavenly" chair but then this price is 1/5 of that chair!
