This chair is a good value for your money. The best feature I liked is easy assembly. An Allen wrench was provided that allowed you to tighten all screws needed to assemble the chair. All screws were coded by letter( part a. part b etc.). This made it easy to put all screws in the right place.

The lifting mechanism seems to be of good quality. However the seat cushion is hard and the seat is small. I am only 5'2" and the back of the seat does not come near me my knees. Not sure why all of the positive reviews. I would not buy again.

This chair looks good but the sitting experience is awful. It does not recline like advertised in fact it feels like it wants to propel me forward. I can't get comfortable in it. Keep looking this is not the one you want. Too late to return it so I'm stuck.

I've had this chair for about 4 months and it will not keep its height. It keeps sinking. That's way too soon for the gas cylinder to give out.

The center pole (now on two chairs) was cut too short and the seat height is two inches lower than the dimensions shown online. We returned both chairs.

The plastic part inside the button for the armrest is weak and breaks upon first use. The waist support is not adjustable and the knob at the back of the chair is pure decoration. Otherwise a usable chair.
