Great chair

This is now my 2nd chair I have purchased. The 1st one lasted over 2 1/2 years still having great support. Even with everyday use for hours at a time the chair stays very comfortable and supportive. Buying it at the sale price just made it a much better deal. This is a great office chair even at full price and is very easy to put together

Cheap odor and wiggly back support

The chair was very easy to put together but there is this uncomforting odor typical of some materials. No matter how comfortable the chair is there is no comfort in sitting and smelling a distasteful odor all day long. I will air it out for a while hoping odor goes away.

I ordered this desk chair yesterday and it arrived today. That is one nice thing about Staples they ship quickly. I was so excited to have a new chair and when we took it out of the box it did not have any instructions. Thankfully my boss was familiar with chair assembly so it was not difficult for him to figure it out. But while assembling the chair the piston that allows it to go up and down was bad. Very frustrating since it take a bit of time to put the chair together and take it apart. I called Staples and they were very nice and said they would have a new one here on Monday and pick up the other one the same day. I am crossing my fingers that the new one will work perfectly and that I can write another review that I really like the chair. I read reviews about many chairs before selecting this one and I really hope Staples looks at their products carefully before shipping them to customers. There were a few stories of people receiving broken and used chairs. I spoke with a nice person in returns Andrea so I really hope the new chair will make up for any inconvenience.

The chair is ok but I am constantly having to raise the seat. It doesn't hold up well moments after I raise it you feel the air go out and the seat is lowered back down. It also seems to lean toward the right side. I am so disappointed in the quality of this chair.

Almost Perfect

I purchased 2 chairs. One of them was perfect with assembly required as anticipated. The second chair was identical but the hand nut that secures the back of he chair had threads that were damaged. Didn't look like a return so my guess is poor QC. Rather than return the chair we ran a die over the thread to clean it up. Problem solved.
