This chair is a good value for your money. The best feature I liked is easy assembly. An Allen wrench was provided that allowed you to tighten all screws needed to assemble the chair. All screws were coded by letter( part a. part b etc.). This made it easy to put all screws in the right place.

We bought a Carder chair at the beginning of the pandemic and it has held up very well over the last 3 years. We bought a few other home office chairs as our family's needs grew but we subsequently chose less expensive ones. The one I was using started to make my arm hurt so I decided to invest in a second Carder chair because the armrests are adjustable and the ones on our first Carder chair were so wonderfully cushiony. The ones on this new chair (August 2023) are SO HARD! They are definitely made of softer plastic than the Union & Scale task chairs but they are MUCH harder than the older Carder chair. I foresee that using this chair won't help my arm pain since I'll still be resting my elbow on a hard & unforgiving surface. Sure I can buy armrest pads but for the price of this chair I shouldn't have to - especially when I was counting on it to be the same quality as the one we purchased in 2020. The rest of the chair seems fine and was easy to assemble.

Overall the quality is good and chair is comfortable. I got this chair for my desk at home for school and the way I have everything setup is a little unorthodox for a desk. Long story short I did not attach the right arm rest because when I bough it I though that the arm rest could be lowered to below initial height. They cannot the initial height is the minimum height. This wasn't what I wanted but if that isn't an issue for you then it's fine. All the other features are good and allow for you to adjust the chair to your liking. Also bare skin on this is not the most comfortable.

I was pleased to get the new chair. It is the same as the old one. We had to replace it due to the fact that the original was defective. the bottom feet were never even to the floor. So the chair tilted. I am happy that the new chair does not tilt sp I am free of back aches.
