We don't use an extreme amount of 11x17 paper but we do have times that call for it! The Staples brand 11x17 paper is fully functional yet a bit more inexpensive than some other brands. We are very happy with the functionality of it & the price we pay! Thanks for making such a great product!
I always buy this paper when it is on sale whether we need it or not. I just stockpile it because it works perfectly in all of my office machines. Our desktop printers are 20 year old HP lasers and we very seldom have a paper jam. We also have a 4 year old Kyocera (it's nickname is "Monster") that does everything. it holds six reams of 8 1/2 x 11 paper in one cassette. We very seldom have paper jams in it. The paper is a nice white so we use it to print letterhead and internal presentations. I highly recommend it to any one looking for a good inexpensive paper.
I am comparing this paper to a premium Multipurpose Versatile paper from staples that I have use for the past 10 years or more. For everyday copying it works great and was a good price. If you print on both sides of the paper it is a bit thin and you can see the dark writing on the second side from the first. I guess it depends on how dark you print on both sides. The test was done copying black ink that was dark to start with. I did not adjust the setting just pressed copy. Reading it with out light behind the paper it was ok. I can see the writing from the other side but it is not disruptive enough to prevent legibility. But if you have light behind the paper then it is not readable with out discomfort. I would buy again for my everyday use.
I ordered this paper when it was buy two get a third free as we knew we had some major printing jobs coming up. Part of my job responsibilities include researching office products prices and finding the best prices I can. I often turn to Staples for excellent prices. While I will sometimes order a higher brightness paper the jobs that are/were upcoming did not require that making this paper a good choice and an economical choice for us. We have never had a problem with Staples brand paper jamming in any of our three copiers and have always been pleased with our purchases.
We like the smaller size case to buy for the library due to storage space. This paper always gives us great copies and prints. We have gotten no complaints about the paper from our patrons. We have tried other paper and we come back to Staples paper.
My wife is a coupon fanatic. I need to keep buying paper so thatshe can print more coupons so thatI can buy more paper. Somehow I don't think I am ever going to get off this merry go round. Oh well at least Staples makes it affordable and their easy rebate program takes the hassles out of rebate submissions. It also saves the $0.49 us postal cost.
