I’m 5’4” and this chair’s adjustments allow me to set the perfect chair height so my feet can remain flat on the floor. The lumbar design in the chair is perfect for me. It moves easily on floors without carpeting but it also rolls on carpeted areas without too much trouble. The assembly instructions were poorly designed but if one takes his or her time the chair can be assembled. Finally I wanted an inexpensive chair that would fit my shorter stature move easily and be comfortable. This chair met my requirements.
This chair is exactly what I wanted. However if you really need the arms look for something else. The pre-drilled holes to attach the arms don't line up and if you WERE able to attach the arms prior to attaching the seat cushion (as the instructions state) you would not be able to fit the cushion into its place. Personally I did not want a chair with arms; so for me it is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Cartwright Chair is a basic office chair. It was pretty easy to assemble I really liked that the bolts and washers for each step were packaged individually so you didn’t have to search through a pile to find the correct ones! The chair features a mesh back which keeps you cool. The tilt tension is adjustable and the height is adjustable both functions easy to use. The chair features arm rests and offers good enough back support with good positioning for a basic office chair.
Chair was easy to put together and very comfortable to sit in. Well worth the value.

The seat cushion is nice and firm and there's plenty of back support. A good value for the money. However assembly is a bit difficult and requires patience. Overall I recommend it if you're looking for a basic and practical chair.
