Not sure if my assembly problem was limited to this one chair… The last step of attaching the arms to the bottom is very difficult. Getting the screws to actually nest into the holes was problematic. I finally gave up on the allen wrench and used a better system I have that could grasp the screw head… Otherwise a good chair for the price.
After fighting with the instructions for 20 minutes I figured out it made no sense. You assemble the back and arms then wedge the seat into the...wait no loosen the arms and...no it won't wedge in. OK arms off back only SQUEEZE into place ok back's on. Arms...stripping the plastic on the side? Fine attach the bottom first and ... nope they don't go on there easily either. Top first? Nope. now you can't squeeze the bottom into where the holes are to... never mind my daughter has a chair with no arms now. Thank goodness it was on sale.
Been using the chair for about week seems very comfortable plus it’s lightweight. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge it’s was difficult to line up the arms with the holes would have helped if I had a second pair of hands. Putting it on the box as suggested in the instructions really helped.
