Paper Curls After Printing

I've been using this paper for years. It's never been good. But at some point you've had enough and decide it's time to move on. My experience with Staples colored pastel papers has not been great. The colors are nice and the paper is undeniably paper. The compliments stop there at one huge sticking point: Without fail the paper curls up at the horizontal edges after printing. I've flipped and reversed the paper in our printer's feeder tray. I've tried different printers. It doesn't matter. It's just not durable paper. The output we use these yellow sheets for get filed in hanging file folders. The curls guarantee these sheets slide down the interior pocket to form a reasonable facsimile of a rolled up newspaper which naturally further enhances the curling problem to the point you just say "forget about it!" and pull the stock of sheets and sit something heavy atop them for a week in the hopes they'll flatten out. Once more paperwork gets married to these sheets they ultimately end up fine. But as solitary sheets they're flimsy and the post-printer curling is just not worth the slight savings over better quality papers. I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this annoying paper particularly if you'll be filing the output away for your records.
I use this paper to print Sunday bulletins for our church. It is good quality I have experienced only one printer jam in over three reams of paper. The congregation likes the contrast and ease of reading using this paper.
My students love getting their worksheets on this color paper. It helps to put a little flair into their work. School work can be boring so anything that makes the students want to work is worth it even if it is just a change in color.
