I have used the Staples Patel Colored Paper for years in our business. Kampgrounds of America adopted yellow as their color a few years ago and has found that it makes a great impact on our customers. We being a KOA franchise now use this paper for all our printing handouts to customers etc. KOA's newest logo is "What is behind your yellow sign?" Well along with fun entertainment food and a great camping experience for individuals and families Staples Pastel Goldenrod paper helps to show everyone staying here at the Pueblo South/Cololrado CIty KOA what is behind our yellow sign.
I was looking for red paper for the Christmas season but found out that the red was simply too dark to be used for printing at least smaller print. It would probably have worked for large bold print. We had the same problem with the green...to dark but at least there was a pale green option available. So we opted for the pink (or "pale red") instead or red. Works fine and it is easy to read the print on it. If you are printing something that needs to be a bit more durable I would recommend a slightly heavier weight paper than this (20 lb.).
It's bright yet dark - does that make sense? It's a good blend and served my purposes. It's lightweight so definitely just for regular use - not cardstock or anything.
I use the colored copy paper to print class announcements calendars and patterns for my Quilt Shop. By using colored paper I can remind the students to check the pink sheet..... It is easy for them to find the correct sheet when looking for a color rather than all white.
