I have been using mostly Staples brand papers for all of my projects for many years. I usually buy the Staples brand product if they have a comparable item rather than name brand products. The results are the same and the savings is great and if they happen to have the product you need or will need soon on sale or with a rewards rebate it just sweetens the pot a little more. The rewards and rebate programs work well and require minimum effort to participate in and they keep you informed of the progress.

Staples' products are great. I do wish they had their brand of white or ultra white legal size paper @ the Banksville Store PGH PA.

Cheaper than parchment for school
on February 11, 2015

I use parchment paper with my students for maps and special drawings but it can get expensive if you need a lot of it. So this ivory paper looks almost as special. I copy their timeline figures on this paper and they cut out the figures to make History Timeline projects. Some kids like to TEAR apart the timeline figures so it looks sort of vintage and scrappy. Handling the timeline figures many times builds retention. We read them then they are looking at them again as they cut them one more time as they glue them to the correct spot in their timeline books. Review is easy as it is all spread out on their timeline pages and it looks so "old fashioned" too!

nice color for dividers in my reports
on September 12, 2013

As I use this paper for dividers & headers in my reports to clients I prefer a pastel color and stout stock so it will withstand many page turns accept ink via the HP Officejet printer and add color and perceived value to the overall report / presentation. Another important characteristic is the uniform quality control of Staples' branded papers. I realize the contract is awarded to the lowest bidder but Staples maintains acceptable quality control. It's the same color texture and "ability to go through my printers" throughout the year and from year to year. Good job Staples!
