This may not be the fault of the paper brand but the packet the gentleman handed me at the counter looked fine. (Apparently - for convenience the employees at the checkout kept a stack of copy paper at the register). When I got home and opened the ream it was badly warped and creased on the bottom. I could only use about 3/4 of the ream.
