what happened to the price of paper? Used to be alot less. Considered getting another product with a rebate not work the hassle but the price was a dollar or two less
Really should avoid. This paper is unimpressive. The paper appears dull compared to other copy papers on the market and the text quality is generally fair at best with a soft appearance. My wife's tried it in 2010 at her work with a Ricoh MFP but it jammed so much she's sworn off Staples altogether preferring Reliable. This year (2012) our large workplace compelled us to buy this to save money. Using it in a Xerox Workcenter 5632 I just finished clearing jam after jam in areas 1 2 3 4 and 5. Yes all of them. Group administrator is complaining that the paper is jamming in every machine but hasn't had problems with previous brand-name paper. I'm in I.T. so by definition I think I know how to fix everything but am in over my head when it comes to copiers. So I'm very careful. I use a flashlight. I've worked around a 5632 for several years so I know every nook and cranny where paper jams. I've been able to clear jams when others have walked away leaving the fuser sticking out like a botched open-heart surgery. Why is this jamming?? Yes call has been placed to Xerox tech support. What's with the wrapper? With other brands it's easy to pull an end up slip finger between wrapper seam and slit open forming a half-wrap that makes it easy to leave a half-ream on the desk. With Staples-brand paper I pull the end it rips. I stick my finger in to try to slit the bottom open and that rips. You cannot get the package open easily and getting the package open without crumpling the paper is very important to prevent jams and lossage.
