paper causes a lot of jams

This paper is quite different than the blue box. It's texture seems to cause multiple sheets to pull through. The blue cases never have this problem

Home Office Paper

This is a great pack of paper for a home office or a large family that does lots of printing. It has also been helpful on saving time running to the store to just pick up a single pack. The smaller children are always grabbing paper out of the printer to make a picture or card for someone and just getting a ream was futile. The older children always seem to have a project notes and papers that have to be printed as well. This pack had an extra added bonus of having a rebate attached which made it affordable to grab to for much less than a box.

I like the paper but it's a bit think for what I really like. The old "20 lb" paper seems to be more 16 lb and a bit thin. But maybe the old 20 lb was more than what it should have been. I bought this paper and it will be adequate for what I want but if I'm going to send copies out to people I guess I need something with more thickness. If you're looking for a cheap decent paper this is for you. If you're looking for a paper to send letters to the outside world I would either switch to a different company or go to a 24 lb paper to add a bit of heft to it.

5 ream of paper

The paper was of good weight brightness was excellent. The paper with the discount was an excellent purchase. I appreciated the value at tax time when we use a lot of paper. The gift card for the rebate will be used on the next 5 ream special. The amount of paper for the $2.00 investment is hard too beat. I feel the company runs this promotion often enough that we pay very little for our paper at Staples. I plan to use the excellent paper to produce a DVD booklet with all our movies listed so they can be placed in a book.

We use this paper as our general "GO TO" paper for printing in a Brother Printer. Works great!!
